TinyMCE

Converted my site to another WYSIWYG editor (again ). This time it's the TinyMCE editor. With the FCKEditor, what I saw wasn't always what I got. There were occasions where I would type something, but when I saved it was different. Sometimes, I would do an action, and the entire page would change.

There are several major differences between this one and the FCKEditor. One of them is that you define which text areas will be managed by TinyMCE ahead of time, or you can specify all of them. Also, you don't define which buttons are available by listing them. All this is done by themes which are JavaScript modules. This does have the drawback of being more complicated, but it allows much more customization. When you supply it with a style sheet, the "Style" pulldown lists all the available classes for use in the editor.

Replaced the stock emoticons with the standard phpBB ones.
