Mac PracticeAt the previous practice session, my pipe mount bracket had vibrated loose (My son tightened it, and I think I forgot to check it), and due to the vibration, the pipe pulled one of my header bolts out. I was hoping that the header bolt had vibrated loose and wasn't stripped. It seemed to tighten down OK, however. Took my kart to the Mac Track for my 4th practice session. My first time in the rain. I took to the track with a dry setup and tires just for the experience. It felt like driving on ice. There was almost no traction and my steering input seemed to have no effect. I then changed to a wet setup, 1.5 degrees castor, front wheels all the way out and rear wheels all the way in. Switched to rain tires. I don't have a spare set of wheels, so I had to remove my wheels and mount the wets at the track. I was thoroughly wet by the end of the day, but I learned a lot about setup and handling.
